King of the Road

A massive bull elephant walks straight down a dirt track in Kruger National Park, carrying himself with the unhurried authority of an animal that has very little reason to move aside. The open road stretches away beside him while the surrounding bushveld falls back, leaving the elephant to dominate the frame. In black and white, scarred skin, tusks, scale, and deliberate stride turn an ordinary moment on a Kruger road into something monumental.
