Teton Layers

Teton Layers looks across the water toward the Teton Range as the landscape rises through a succession of bands—lake, forest, foothills, snow, and sky. The depth of the scene is what holds me: each layer leads naturally into the next, allowing the mountains to emerge rather than simply dominate.
